So my old PC finally dug a grave.
Died.
Gone.
Thus my absence. So I bought another desktop. And does it ever spank!
512 meg RAM, a 64-bit Athlon processor, windows XP Media Center. The coolest bit is the CD/DVD writer. LightScribe. Oh yes...
For an extra two cents more per CD, I can do amazing tricks. When I burn, say, some tunes on one of these CD's... I simply flip the disc, reinsert it in the drive and proceed to burn a photo... any photo (jpg, bmp, etc...) on the other side.
No more labels. Oh yeah. How sweet is that?
Want to catalogue a family album on CDs? Cake! Burn the pics on one side, then make/edit/pirate an image and burn it on the other. You're done.
No labeling, no writing, no WORK. Just instant gratification.
Has to be the greatest thing since peanut butter.
